Security Directors oversee the operation of the security department and ensures all areas of a business are protected. They are typically required to ensure the security of facilities, equipment, personnel, and information and direct the protection of an organization from physical assault, industrial espionage, robbery, fraud, internet hacking, and terrorism. Job descriptions typically involve reporting to upper management, investigating crimes, planning personal and facility security, analyzing data, and hiring, training and supervising new employees to be part of the department of security and safety.
